ENGINE CHANGE / Boeing 777-200ER Austrian Airlines (OE-LPD). A #B777 engine remains installed for an average of 30,000 flight hours until it is overhauled. With a thrust of 94,000 lb, the approximately 8.5-ton engine (GE90-90B) is one of the world's largest and most powerful engines.
