Let's Rock the PSSAs! Next week, PA Cyber students in prescribed grades must participate in the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA). On April 25-26, students in grades 3 through 8 will take English Language Arts and Math tests. On April 27, students in grades 4 and 8 will also take the Science test. Yesterday, I visited Colonial Middle School in Plymouth Meeting to announce that starting next year, the PSSA testing period will be shortened by a full week and administered later in the school year to give students more time to learn the material that they are tested on, and teachers more time to teach it to them.
